A half heart necklace splits one heart pendant into two matching pieces — a jagged-edge half for you, the other half for your partner — so together the two necklaces read as one whole heart. Personalize each pendant with a name of up to 20 characters, one name per half. Both pendants are 316L stainless steel with your choice of gold-plated, rose gold-plated or silver-tone finish. Steel holds an engraving cleanly and resists the tarnishing and skin-greening that plated brass or bonded silver are prone to with daily wear, and it's nickel-safe, which matters if either of you reacts to cheaper costume jewelry. The finish is a plating over steel, not solid gold and not sterling silver, and it's priced and built for daily wear rather than as a precious-metal investment piece.
