Dark, dense hematite beads run the full length of the strand, broken up by 1 to 4 smaller silver-tone charms, each engraved with a name, date or short word of your choosing, which is what makes it work as a Father's Day gift, an anniversary piece, or something he picks out for himself.

Engrave one line per charm: a partner's name and a child's, a birth year, or initials for a subtler look. Short names and single words engrave most cleanly on a bead this size — a very long name may need shortening to sit legibly on the curve. Choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 charms depending on how many people or dates you want on the wrist at once.

Wondering whether the beads are "real" hematite — a fair question, since a lot of dark, magnetic-looking jewelry sold as hematite is actually a synthetic ferrite called hematine. What we can state plainly: the engraved charms themselves are 316L stainless steel with a silver-tone finish, the same nickel-safe metal behind every FARUZO piece, so they resist tarnish and won't irritate skin the way cheaper plated alloys can. There's no gold or rose-gold option on this design — the charms come in silver tone only.

It's a single-size stretch bracelet, sized to sit snugly on an average adult wrist; we don't currently publish an exact stretch range, so if the wrist is unusually large or small, check with us before ordering rather than guessing. The beads are dense and hold their polish well, but like any stone bead they can chip if dropped hard onto tile or stone — keep the bracelet away from perfumes, lotions and pools, and wipe it dry after wear.
